Student Organizations are the heart of our law school. Florida State College of Law boasts nationally recognized student organizations led by outstanding leaders. Our more than 35+ student organizations enable like-minded law students to come together around the issues and ideas they are most passionate about. Student Organization Funding

Every registered law student organization may apply for financial funding from LSAC. LSAC is the funding board responsible for allocating funds to all law school student organizations. LSAC receives funding from The Congress of Graduate Students (COGS). COGS is the official representative body of all post-baccalaureate special, masters, specialist, professional, and doctoral students at Florida State University.
In addition to its liaison and advocacy roles, COGS receives several hundred thousand dollars in state funds directly budgeted from the A&S fees paid by graduate students to FSU. These A&S funds that are included in every law student’s tuition fees are allocated to COGS from the Florida State Student Senate. COGS then funds LSAC who distributes A&S funds to every law school student organization.
