1. Homelessness Awareness Week:
As part of the ABA Law Student Division Work-A-Day Program, SBA sponsored not just one day but an entire Homelessness Awareness Week in an effort to present the issue to our students and to find ways to partner with the local community to combat the growing epidemic of homelessness.
SBA hosted numerous events throughout the week including:

We spent a significant amount of time discussing ways in which we as law students can help combat the problem and help the homeless using our legal skills.
- § Our week also provided a valuable opportunity for students to connect with leaders to perform pro bono work or volunteer to help the homeless in a legal capacity.
