Mock Trial Team Wins First Place in Tampa!
This past weekend, Ryan Hoyle, 3L, Thomas Philpot, 3L, Matt Minnick, 2L, and Elliott Smith, 2L, won first place in the 2010 E. Earle Zehmer Mock Trial Competition. The event, which was held in Tampa this past weekend, was sponsored by the Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Justice Association. The team was coached by Professor Ruth Stone and by Maria Santoro, the managing partner in the Tallahassee office of George, Hartz & Lundeen. Other competitor schools included Florida Coastal, Florida International, Nova, St. Thomas, Stetson and the University of Miami. Congratulations to the mock trial team!
