Law Students Making a Difference Campaign
Everytime I hear a joke about the legal profession, I can’t help but think about all the great things lawyers and law students do for our community. Last year Florida State law students gave back in a myriad of ways including: a local canned food drive, a 5K run to support the battle against ALS, and a fundraiser to help provide the children of Sierra Leone with a strong education. This year, the Student Bar Association hopes to add some new ways to give back in addition to continuing these great events from the past year.
The first of these events will be our 1st ever Law School Clothing Drive. In preparation for the Winter months, SBA will be accepting clothing donations from October 12th through October 23rd. We will transport all of the donations made at the law school to the local GoodWill Center. Although jackets, blankets, and professional clothing is prefferd, WE WILL BE ACCEPTING ALL CLOTHING DONATIONS.
